Mission

The USF Polytechnic Budget Office strives to provide services and information necessary to develop, implement, and monitor current and future programs and plans for budgeted resources in consideration with University and Campus Mission Statements and Strategic Initiatives.

Department Values

It is the intent of USF Polytechnic to allocate, through this office, budgetary resources to facilitate the support of a student-centered educational environment conducive to maximizing the potential for student learning, sponsored research, and community support and involvement.

Our services are provided primarily for the university community. The Budget office services include the facilitation of budget allocations related to all sources of funds, periodic budget review and adjustments, resource transfers, cost analyses and other reports of financial activity for management use, budget and variance reporting, prompt and accurate processing of correcting budget transactions, (i.e. campus and departmental budget transfers, payroll distributions, expenditure resource transfers), and the maintenance of necessary management controls. Budget services are provided through courteous and helpful interaction with faculty, staff, constituent groups, and the general public. Services are provided in accordance with USF rules and policy, State Board of Education directives, and State of Florida Statues.
