Cognitive Aging Psychologist
Visiting Instructor,  Psychology

Aryn L. H. Bush received her B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. from The University of Akron. She earned her doctorate in Applied Cognitive Aging Psychology, with a particular emphasis on neurodegenerative diseases-specifically mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease, and related dementias. In addition, Dr. Bush recently obtained certification as an AFA Qualified Dementia Care Provider.

Dr. Bush is currently employed as a visiting instructor at the University of South Florida Polytechnic, where she divides her time between teaching undergraduates in the areas of psychology and gerontology, and working as the cognitive aging psychologist at the USFP Rath Senior ConNEXTions and Education Center. Dr. Bush serves as the cognitive impairment and dementia education program specialist at the USFP Rath Center, where she is privileged to work with individuals who have received dementia diagnoses and their loved ones as they navigate through the disease process. Additionally, Dr. Bush serves as founding chairperson for the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias Advisory Council of Polk County.
