Vicky Burke is from Albuquerque, N.M., and worked for the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque as the administrative assistant for the Professional Development Program though the Division of Continuing Education. She also served as line dance instructor for the Personal Enrichment Program and after moving to Lakeland she has instructed several line dance classes for the Rath Center.

Before moving to Lakeland, Vicky visited several different universities in the area. After seeing what Lakeland had to offer, she knew USF was where she wanted to work. She relocated to Lakeland in fall 2003 and was hired as a program assistant for the USF Educational Leadership & Policy Studies Program in January 2004. Vicky expanded her horizons to become the office manager for the Division of Arts & Sciences in January 2009.
