Originally from Connecticut, Jen moved to Florida in 1994 to attend USF Tampa. While there she was a member of the Honors College and earned her undergraduate degree in International Studies. As an undergraduate student she volunteered as a Student Admissions Representative, giving tours of the campus. After graduation she started working in admissions full time. Since then Jen has worked for two private universities and a community college.
Jen is an active participant in several professional organizations dedicated to promoting higher education. She is currently the Vice President of the Tampa Bay Higher Education Alliance (TBHEA), a nonprofit group comprised of regionally accredited institutions across the greater Tampa Bay area. A new chapter of TBHEA was recently formed to focus on Polk County, the Higher Education League of Polk County (POLK). She is also a member of the National Association of College Admissions Counselors, the Southern Association of College Admissions Counselors, and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
