Academic Accommodations

Students who have special accommodations for testing complete the Exam Request Form one week prior to taking the exam. The student completes the form and asks the instructor to sign it, verifying the conditions and requirements of the testing session and returns the form to the SDS office.
- Braille embosser (translates electronic copy to Braille hard copy)
- Jaws (screen reader)
- Open Book (scanner and screen reader)
- CCTV (book image enlarger)
- Books on tape or electronic format
- Permission to tape record lectures
- Note takers
- ASL interpreters
- Course substitutions for language requirement if eligible
