The University of South Florida Polytechnic Rath Senior ConNEXTions and Education Center is offering its fall session of Senior Scholars classes beginning the week of Sept. 28.  Most classes cost $50 and are offered at USF Polytechnic or other locations in Lakeland.

• Beginning Computers. Tuesdays, 1 PM - 2:30 PM, Sept 29 - Nov 3. USF Polytechnic.
• Intermediate Computers. Mondays, 10 AM - noon, Sept 28 - Nov 2. USF Polytechnic.
• Life Writing. Mondays, 10 AM - noon, Sept 28 - Nov 2. USF Polytechnic.
• Managing Photos on the Computer. Mondays, 1 PM- 3 PM, Sept 28 - Nov 2. USF Polytechnic.
• Maintain Your Brain. Tuesdays, 10 AM - 11:30 AM, Sept. 29 - Oct. 27. USF Polytechnic.
• Spanish 101. Thursdays, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM, Oct. 1 - Nov. 12, USF Polytechnic.
• Wellness. Wednesdays, 1 PM - 2:30 PM, Sept. 30 - Nov. 4, USF Polytechnic.
• 100 Years of Broadway. Thursdays, 1 PM - 3 PM, Oct. 1 - Nov. 5, Lake Morton Senior Center. FREE!
• Healthy Cooking. Thursdays, 10:30 AM - noon. Oct. 1 - Nov. 5. Legacy Christian Church.

Senior Scholars is a life-long learning program for adults 50 or better who want continued intellectual and social stimulation in a learning environment.  The courses are taught by USF Polytechnic faculty and staff, community leaders and other qualified individuals.  Classes are held once a week for a six-week semester.
