The Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity presents a free Mock Interview Workshop Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in room 1105 of the Lakeland Technology Building at the University of South Florida Polytechnic, 3433 Winter Lake Rd., Lakeland.

All students are invited to fine tune their interview skills with top businesses, including Publix, NCT Inc. and Winter Haven Hospital.

"Remember your resume and business attire," says Melissa Cobb, Delta Signma Pi president. "Dress to impress!"

According to Mary Mittag, career advisor at USFP's Career Center, "This event is an outstanding opportunity for students to not only polish their interview skills in a professional setting, but also to network with representatives from major area employers. Preparing for an interview is similar to preparing for a test or quiz. Students should have an idea of what questions to anticipate so they can present themselves effectively and confidently. In such an extremely competitive job market, students must be thoroughly prepared to market themselves to their best advantage. "
