The University of South Florida Polytechnic will host a community health fair on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the LTB Auditorium on the PCC-USF Polytechnic campus in Lakeland

Vendors from local health agencies will be on hand to provide free and minimal-cost screenings. Flu shots will also be available for $25. There will also be fitness demonstrations and presentations on timely topics such as identity theft and osteoporosis. The health fair is open to all USFP and PCC students and staff, as well as senior citizens and the surrounding USFP/PCC community. Admission is free.
