The University of South Florida system is proud to have contracted Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF) to provide the Student Medical Insurance Plan. As a part of the USF system, USF Polytechnic students are eligible to purchase the student health insurance plan.

Although USF Polytechnic does not have a health center, students with the insurance plan are able to visit with providers who accept BlueOptions (Network Blue). Students can review the summary of benefits and covered services in the 2009-2010 medical insurance plan brochure.

Students who are enrolled in USF Tampa courses have access to the Student Health Services facility where deductibles and covered services is fully covered. All students can visit the USF Physicians Group (USFPG), which is located in Tampa, for services as well.
