Dr. Marshall Goodman serves as the CEO of USF Polytechnic, a position he has held since taking office in May, 2006. He reports to USF President Judy Genshaft and works closely with USFP's Campus Board and leads the USFP Executive Council.
On his first visit to Lakeland, Dr. Goodman gave an inspired talk to the campus community, entitled "Dream No Small Dreams." In that talk he laid out the bold outline for a campus that knew no boundaries - an institution that would transform the lives of its students and of the region it served.
From that moment on, Dr. Goodman has captivated the campus and the region with his passion for public higher education, innovative scholarship and teaching, and economic development. Those who know him well use words such as "brilliant," "tireless," "creative," "passionate," and "visionary" to describe him.
As USF Polytechnic moves forward with its ambitious strategic plan and the development of the new campus on I-4, the CEO's office will remain engaged in campus and community affairs.
