Lifelong learning is a priority at USF Polytechnic. Senior adults have a variety of options to stay engaged with the university and further expand their knowledge.
Senior Citizen Waivers
Florida residents who are 60 years of age or older prior to the first day of classes in the term of registration may enroll on a space available basis in certain undergraduate and graduate courses without paying fees.
Senior Scholars Program
Senior Scholars courses are offered through USFP's Rath Senior ConNEXTions and Education Center and are available for senior adults ages 50+. These courses are non-credit earning and cover a wide array of subjects to fit varying interests at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Classes are offered throughout Polk County and and are available in January, March, September, and November.
