Starting college as a non-degree seeking student is a common way to begin at USF Polytechnic. Students begin as a non-degree seeking student for several reasons:
- They missed the application deadline but are still interested in starting classes while they are completing the official application process.
- They do not meet the admission requirements at the time of application but will by the time the offiicial application is submitted.
Non-degree seeking students can complete up to 14 undergraduate credit hours and 12 graduate credit hours which can then be applied towards degree requirements upon admission to the institution. Each academic program has different requirements/allotments for non-degree seeking students. Contact USFP Admissions for additional details.
