Becoming a Bull

After submitting an application to USFP, students should follow the list below to ensure a smooth transition. This checklist will assist students in completing the enrollment process.

  • Submit official transcripts.
    • Transcripts must be submitted from all prior colleges or universities.
    • High school transcripts may be required to demonstrate foreign language requirement completion.
    • Students who are currently enrolled in another college or university must submit a current transcript to be evaluated by admissions AND a final official transcript indicating all courses are completed and degree conferral (if applicable).
  • Students can monitor their admissions status online using OASIS.
    • OASIS is the USF student information website. Instructions will be provided on this website on how to log on the first time using a Social Security number and birthday.
  • Complete the student Immunization and Medical History Form.
    • Students will receive this form with their official letter of acceptance to USFP. This form is also available online.
    • This form must be returned to Student Health Services in Tampa. Their fax number is 813.974.5888.
  • Obtain a USF Photo ID card.
  • Register for new student orientation.
    • Orientation is mandatory. Students will be unable to register for courses without attending.
    • Dates for orientation are scheduled well in advance.
  • Schedule a pre-advising appointment with an academic advisor.
    • At this session students will review their SASS audit with their academic advisor to review transfer of credit and degree requirements.
    • While all advisors will see walk-in students, appointments are encouraged. To schedule an appointment, please call 863.667.7011.
    • Academic advisors see students on a walk-in basis ONLY during the two weeks prior to classes beginning and during the first week of classes.
  • Discuss financial aid concerns with a counselor.
  • Register for classes:
    • Students are eligible to register for classes, after:
      • all admissions requirements are met; and
      • medical history and immunization records are received by Student Health Services; and
      • orientation has been attended.
    • Students can view the course schedule online.
    • Information on registering for courses can be found online.
