To gain admission into USF Polytechnic, students must:

• Complete an associate of arts (AA) degree from a Florida community college or 60 transferable semester credit hours from another college or university; and
• Transfer a cumulative 2.5 grade point average (GPA) or better from previous educational institutions. All upper level (3000/ 4000) courses completed at institutions outside of USF will need to be evaluated by the department prior to being applied towards the degree.
• In computing entry grade point average all business and economics courses taken for S or U grades will be converted to C or F, respectively. A minimum of 2.0 is required on all credit attempted at USF, including any prior to renewal; and
• Complete USF's undergraduate admissions application process online. Select USF Polytechnic as your home campus.

The College of Business is an upper-level, limited access college, which means that it has admission requirements in addition to those of the university in general. Students interested in pursuing a degree in the areas offered by the College of Business must complete the state-mandated common prerequisites (or equivalents) with a grade of C- or higher in each course and an overall 2.0 GPA. Students may be admitted to the university prior to completing all of these requirements.
