Psychology, BA

With a better understanding of human functioning, graduates are prepared for a wide array of career opportunities that require bachelor's degrees.

Graduates may work in agencies such as social service, substance abuse, welfare, juvenile assessment, rehabilitation, and hospitals and clinics.

They may find employment as a case manager, child welfare worker, residential youth counselor, human resources specialist, college admissions counselor, director of volunteer services, employment counselor, veterans' advisor, customer relations supervisor, market researcher, and staff training and development specialist.

Graduates may also find this program useful in preparing for graduate school in psychology, counseling, law school, medical school or a variety of other graduate programs. A doctoral degree in psychology is required to be a licensed psychologist.
