Criminology, BA
USF Polytechnic provides a 2+2 bachelor's program. It allows students to complete the first two years (approximately 60 semester credit hours) at their local community college or another college or university and the last two years (approximately 60 semester credit hours) with USF Polytechnic to obtain a bachelor's degree.
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminology at USF Polytechnic:
- These courses are offered during days, evenings and weekends-most commonly in a once-per week format.
- These courses are offered in traditional face-to-face, blended (combination of web-delivery with reduced traditional face-to-face meetings) and web-based (fully online) formats. Students may complete this entire degree with all traditional courses or may complete over half of the degree entirely online.
- Full-time students taking 12 credit hours per semester should expect to finish in less than two years. Part-time students can set a schedule that best fits their needs.
- Alternative delivery methods are currently in development to include: televised courses with simultaneous delivery at multiple locations, short-term intensive courses (longer/more frequent class meetings over fewer weeks), and cohort-based programs (where a group of students take a series of courses as a group).
