USF Polytechnic's office of University Advancement reports to the VP/CEO. The department is responsible for a wide range of external affairs, including university relations ("friend-raising") and development ("fund-raising") functions. The Advancement office also serves a variety of liaison functions with the USF system and its member institutions. The Director of University Advancement sits on the USF system's Advancement Management Council, and staff members are active on system-wide communication and marketing teams.
